Position Summary
Provides timely, quality, cost effective maintenance for FedEx Express vehicle fleet and ground support equipment which requires preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications and documentation.
Essential Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
- At least 3 years of fleet, automotive, or truck vehicle maintenance experience.
- Automotive Service Technician or Truck & Coach Technician certification.
- Completed vehicle apprentice program with certified diploma.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Working knowledge of service garage equipment, testing equipment, gauges and tools normally associated with troubleshooting and repair of gasoline, diesel, and propane equipment.
- Basic electronic troubleshooting skills.
- Complete set of hand tools including metric sizes.
