Core responsibilities:

• Inspect and test engines to find faults (visual checks, listening for abnormal noise, power checks, scan‑tool diagnostics, etc.).
• Diagnose problems in key systems: fuel, ignition, cooling, lubrication, exhaust, air intake, and engine mounting/suspension.
• Dismantle engines or components (cylinder head, pistons, crankshaft, timing system) for detailed inspection and measurement.
• Repair or replace worn and defective parts, then reassemble and adjust the engine according to manuals and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance: oil and filter changes, spark plug replacement, belt changes, valve clearance adjustment, tune‑ups.
