Mechanical Technician - Energy (Kuwait Pool - Based in UAE)

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain a wide range of mechanical equipment and systems in a power plant.
• Attend preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance repairs with minimal direction and supervision, including on‑call duties as required.
• Restore mechanical systems as quickly as possible.
• Assist Technician Engineers or carry out jobs independently with clear understanding of relevant methods, procedures, and associated risks, selecting appropriate tools and equipment.
• Carry out maintenance works in adherence with EHS standards and plant operating requirements to minimise workplace accidents.
• Monitor recurring breakdowns and suggest and implement proper resolutions to avoid reoccurrence of similar problems.
• Direct contract workforce to carry out maintenance repairs and services in line with agreed plans.
• Accept direction from supervisor verbally or in writing.
