Mechanical Engineering Specialist Proxxi

Join Proxxi as a Mechanical Engineering Specialist and lead the innovation of wearable safety technology. This position is based in our Gastown office and involves hands-on engineering tasks.
We are excited to hire a Mechanical Engineer who will spearhead the mechanical design process. This position includes responsibility for injection mold tooling, design for manufacturing, and testing. Collaborate with both internal teams and external designers, ensuring effective transitions from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create CAD designs from initial concepts
• Conduct assembly tolerance stack-ups
• Ensure products meet IP67 waterproofing standards
• Develop the required tooling drawings for injection molding
• Manage mechanical design testing and quality inspections
Requirements:
• BSME or an equivalent qualification, MSME preferred
• 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
