Job Description
Mechanical Engineer to support the design and construction of buildings within the Buildings + Places business line. This opportunity could be based out of Markham, Mississauga or Pickering offices, with hybrid work available.
Major Responsibilities
- Design of plumbing, fire protection and HVAC systems;
- Review HVAC calculations prepared by junior staff and prepare design HVAC design concepts and layouts.
- Assist in preparing markups and design instructions for modelling/drafting by technicians and junior staff.
- Prepare plumbing design concepts and layouts for modelling/drafting by technicians and junior staff.
- Contribute to the preparation and review of technical documents, calculations, and drawings.
- Provide technical input to studies and design reports to meet client requirements.
