Mechanical Engineer – HVAC & Fire Protection Pay Rate: Up to $ /hour, depending on experience
Contract Length: 1 Year (July 28, 2026 – July 30, 2027)
Location: Burnaby, British Columbia (Hybrid)
Note: The primary pay rate is based on the rate for an incorporated contractor who owns their own business. However, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in a T4 arrangement, where applicable.
Description The Mechanical Engineer will provide engineering expertise in the design, analysis, planning, and delivery of HVAC and Fire Protection systems for generating station projects and operations. This role combines engineering leadership with hands‑on design work, supporting medium‑complexity projects while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with engineering standards.
