Mechanical & Electric Technician

Overview

Maintain assets in accordance with technical practice and manufacturer’s requirements to ensure equipment reliability. Follow local, regional, segment, and Group (especially HSEQ) requirements, objectives, and guidelines for performing the work.

Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance tasks following standards and procedures, ensuring quality and effectiveness.
• Register required data linked to work orders.
• Support the operation and quality of Jotun’s property and production equipment.
• Participate actively in root‑cause analysis of recurring and critical breakdowns and failures.
• Participate in Safe Job Analysis and comply with Work Permit requirements.
• Support engineering projects by providing documentation for electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Assist the Commission process for new assets based on HSEQ and engineering standards.
