Mechanical Development Engineer (MDE) - Mechanical Integration (MI)
The Mechanical Development Engineer (MDE) - Mechanical Integration (MI) is responsible for the design, development and release of mechanical integration components including housing, castings, stampings, bearings, fasteners, seals, plugs, harnesses, cooling and lubrication systems.
These components are engineered to function together within an assembly, ensuring the product meets its overall performance requirements.
The MDE operates within the eDrive Engineering organization, partnering closely with CAD Designers and CAE Engineers.
In this role the MDE is responsible for executing work requests from Project Team members to meet defined program performance requirements and timing objectives.
The MDE requests design and analysis support from CAD and/or CAE team members, coordinates with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and suppliers to achieve successful component release, and collaborates with cross‐fu...
