The Mechanical Designer will be responsible for leading the production of a variety of mechanical systems and components for the Food & Logistics group, utilizing BIM and CAD design software. This role involves working under the guidance of a Professional Engineer to coordinate design intent with project stakeholders and communicate effectively across disciplines.
Duties/Responsibilities:- Lead the creation of mechanical engineering design models, technical drawings, construction documents, details, and specifications in both 3D and 2D formats using Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and other engineering software.
- Collaborate with internal and external project stakeholders to ensure design intent aligns with project requirements while adhering to budget constraints.
- Identify design errors or discrepancies and report them promptly to the Engineer of Record for correction.
