Job Overview
As a Mechanical Designer, you will apply a strong foundation in mechanical design with system level reasoning to develop Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs). Working as an individual technical contributor within a cross‑functional robotics team, you will influence system architecture and translate high‑level concepts into highly functional and reliable mechanical subsystems that integrate seamlessly with electrical and software components. You will work hands‑on with the team to resolve complex system‑level issues through detailed root‑cause analysis and debugging, and help ensure the system meets applicable requirements across the full AMR product lifecycle.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the design of AMR mechanical subsystems such as chassis structures, suspension systems, payload structures, and safety‑related mechanical features by developing detailed CAD models, assemblies, drawings, BOMs, and assembly instructions.
