Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

• 3D model creation and production drafting for new product design of industrial machinery
• Work with the customer to refine production specifications and execute their product vision
• Consult with Manufacturing to resolve issues and improve product manufacturability
• Update documents of existing designs to resolve issues such as EOL components, manufacturability issues and customer requests
• Mentor technicians and junior engineers to develop their skill sets

Qualified candidates will have experience in most of these areas:

• Sheet metal parts
• Metal and plastic machined parts
• Vacuum process systems including detailed chamber design, design for cost and manufacturability in large format CNC machining, OEM part selection and integration, and testing requirem...
