Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and equipment for mining and mineral processing applications.
• Produce detailed engineering drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
• Perform engineering calculations, design verification, and technical analysis.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, projects, and operations teams to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and manufacturable.
• Support product improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance, reliability, and serviceability.
• Conduct root-cause investigations and implement engineering solutions to operational challenges.
• Participate in prototype development, testing, and product validation activities.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, quality requirements, and customer specifications.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and engineering change notices.
