Mechanical & Cooling Commissioning Lead

Overview

Mechanical & Cooling Commissioning Lead is responsible for commissioning mechanical and cooling systems serving a data centre, including chillers, CDUs, pumps, CRAHs/CRACs, cooling towers, heat exchangers, and liquid cooling infrastructure. The role encompasses L2/L3 testing and mock-run L4 testing to ensure performance under realistic load profiles and integrated scenarios, particularly for high-density AI deployments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute L2/L3 mechanical tests: installation verification, flushing and cleaning, pressure/leak testing, start-ups, and initial functional checks.
• Conduct mock-run L4 functional performance tests for cooling systems: flow rates, Delta-T performance, redundancy behavior (N+1), component failover, load ramping, and transient behavior.
