Chief Mechanic / General Mechanic
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing faults and equipment defects
- Adjusting equipment and replacing faulty parts
- Repair damaged / defective equipment parts
- Perform major repairs when necessary
- Perform minor repairs on SSI equipment on site
- Clean, lubricate and conduct routine services on SSI equipment
- Consult with co workers on a given task
- Report damaged and faulty equipment to management
Qualifications:
- At least High School Graduate
- Ability to lift heavy machinery
- Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to render overtime if required
- Ability to read service and repair manuals
- Willing to relocate from time to time
