Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and machinery
- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs to minimize equipment downtime
- Inspect machines and identify worn or damaged parts for replacement
- Dismantle, repair, assemble and overhaul mechanical components
- Install, align and commission mechanical equipment
- Maintain pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, conveyors, valves and other rotating equipment
- Lubricate machinery and ensure proper maintenance schedules are followed
- Replace bearings, seals, belts, chains, couplings and other mechanical components
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals and maintenance procedures
Qualifications
- Preferred candidate profile: ITI, Technical Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Fitter, Diesel Mechanic, or a related trade. <...
