Role Description
The Mechanic role at Gridlink is a full-time, on-site position based in Thunder Bay, ON. The Mechanic will perform routine and complex maintenance and repair on a wide range of heavy equipment, vehicles, and machinery used in utility infrastructure projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting preventive maintenance, completing repairs in accordance with safety and quality standards, and documenting work performed. The role also involves collaborating with operations and field teams to minimize equipment downtime, ensuring tools and parts are properly maintained and stocked, and adhering to all company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong maintenance skills, including Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair.
