Meat Associate (Edmonton)

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Meat Department Head (or his/her delegates), the Meat Associate is responsible for providing good service to our customers by fulfilling their requests, maintaining inventory and workplace cleanliness.

You Will

• Assist customers in selecting meat products and provide recommendations as needed
• Maintain inventory and product quality; ensure full display of various meat products
• Cut, pack and label various meat products and display them in the display coolers
• Label frozen meat products and place them into the display cooler
• Maintain workplace cleanliness, wash and ensure relevant work tools are clean and well‑kept
• Keep warehouse, display and walk‑in coolers clean and tidy
• Follow procedures to process expired products and manage shrinkage
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
