Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Materials Planner.
**What you'll do**:**PRIMARY FUNCTION**:Understands and support the suppliers planning, ordering, scheduling and tracking of customer material requirements in order to meet and/or exceed delivery provisions and production schedules.
- Plan, schedule and expedite material releases for the product line.
- Supplier Material Planning process through the use of the MRP system.
- Manage all inventory levels to reach plant & divisional goals and DOH- Suppliers OTD- Excess and Obsoletes**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:- Perform Production and Materials Planning according to the following responsibilities:- Maintains the quantity of materials needed to support production schedules.
- Tracks inbound purchases, communicates materials shortages, reviews materials requirements against forecasted shipping specifications, reports resource issues and potential corrective actions to appropriate personnel.
