Materials Manager (Tijuana)

Overview

Eaton's IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Materials Manager.

Responsibilities and authority

1. Directs all Material Management activities including: Inventory Management, Logistics, Purchasing, Scheduling Planning and SIOP.
2. Build and maintain a positive working relationship with internal and external customers. Initiate and implement process improvement activities to meet business objectives.
3. Support Corporate cost-out activities as representative for the plant.
4. Support EHS action plan. Safety performance improvement. Ensure EHS goals are fully cascaded. Contractors Certification. Handling of chemicals.
5. Develop and implement tools to ensure adequate supplier capacities are in place to support operation plans and to track Eaton and customer paid tooling within the supply base.
6. In conjunction with other functions define action plans to improve Customer satisfaction.
