Summary
The Materials Manager is responsible for managing the procurement of materials, components, supplies, and services required to support efficient manufacturing operations in a lean production environment. Reporting directly to the Controller this role works cross-functionally with Project Management, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Shipping, and Administration to ensure timely availability of materials, inventory accuracy, and cost-effective purchasing practices. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong analytical and communication skills and experience coordinating purchasing activities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
