Materials Manager (Mexicali)

Overview

Description: Supervises the planning, purchase and handling of material for the different areas of the company; as well as shipments of finished product from all areas and warehouses

Responsibilities

• Supervise, assist and support purchasing personnel in the processes where it represents complications.
• Supporting sibling companies with information, follow-up, projects, etc.
• Responsible for following and enforcing procedures applicable to the materials area.
• Work with other managers to find solutions to problems and follow up on issues/needs related to the department.
• Supervise the different areas of the Materials department, Warehouse and Shipments
• Conduct salary reviews and evaluations of department personnel
• Participate and assist in the coordination of the annual warehouse audits
• Coordinate special projects related to the area
