As a member of Agilent's Materials Engineering team, you are tasked to manage a list of assigned commodities. The role requires collaboration with internal teams and external parties. Externally, the Materials Engineer works closely with Agilent's global suppliers on quality, reliability, cost and delivery and continuously explores new technologies available in the marketplace. Within Agilent, the Materials Engineer interfaces with Procurement, Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, Logistics, and Production teams to ensure that the factory receives quality raw materials needed for production in a timely, compliant and reasonably cost‑effective manner.
