Materials and Production Planner

Job Description Summary

The Material & Production Planner owns the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and the planning parameters that drive MRP outputs in SAP. This role is the connective tissue between demand, supply, and production execution — responsible for ensuring that production orders are correctly scheduled, material-ready, and grounded in accurate data.

The planner generates and maintains demand signals (PIRs) that give buyers long‑lead visibility, governs the SAP parameters that determine how inventory is replenished, and serves as the single point of contact for production schedule changes and expedite feasibility.
