Material Planner – ABB
Responsible for finished goods planning for warehouse replenishment: work with feeder factories and/or external suppliers to achieve customer fulfillment while maintaining inventory levels to business targets.
Executes procurement cycle: ensure adequate purchase requisitions to purchase order conversion and vendor invoicing; root cause as needed for problem resolutions.
Maintains planning parameters' alignment (lead times, safety stock, etc.) for material availability to desired service levels and partners with demand planning for forecast changes/adjustments.
Performs inventory sanity checks, analyses of short, excess and obsolete/aging inventory; determines and takes appropriate actions for optimizing inventory performance.
Collaborates with sales, marketing, product management, feeder factories and/or external suppliers to drive improvements.
Leads weekly pacing metrics with factories to support finished goods fulfillment.
