Material Planner – ABB
- Responsible for finished goods planning for warehouse replenishment: work with feeder factories and/or external suppliers to achieve customer fulfillment while maintaining inventory levels to business targets.
- Executes procurement cycle: ensure adequate purchase requisitions to purchase order conversion and vendor invoicing; root cause as needed for problem resolutions.
- Maintains planning parameters' alignment (lead times, safety stock, etc.) for material availability to desired service levels and partners with demand planning for forecast changes/adjustments.
- Performs inventory sanity checks, analyses of short, excess and obsolete/aging inventory; determines and takes appropriate actions for optimizing inventory performance.
