Roles and Responsibilities - Production Material Kitting
Plan and prepare material kits as per production schedule for multiple automotive customers Handle SMD reels, trays, and cut tapes with proper identification and control Ensure 100% accuracy of part number, quantity, revision, and customer-specific requirements Maintain strict traceability for automotive standards (lot, batch, date code) Follow FIFO/FEFO for reel components to avoid aging and obsolescence Coordinate with stores, planning, and SMT lines for timely material readiness Monitor and control shortages, alternate parts, and customer approvals Perform reel verification including MSL status, baking, and floor life control Ensure proper labeling as per customer and automotive compliance requirements Maintain ESD-safe handling and storage for all electronic components Manage material returns, re-kitting, and reconcili...
