Material Handler II Location: Glasgow (Onsite)
Duration: 6-month contract (ASAP start date) Pay Rate: £13.86 per hour (AWD/AWR Salary Equivalent: £27,027) Schedule: Full-time, 37.50 hours per week Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 16:00 (Overtime available; no shift allowance)
Position Objective We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to work in a team-based environment performing material handling duties within a busy warehouse. You will be responsible for picking and packing customer orders to meet tight deadlines, ensuring all orders are shipped accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Perform warehouse duties in strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Safely operate essential warehouse equipment, specifically Counterbalance and Reach trucks.
Use in-house software packages and PC skills for the daily picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
