Material Control Specialist (PMC)

Our client, a global leader in lithium-ion battery and energy storage manufacturing, is looking for an experienced Material Control Specialist to safeguard the steady flow of materials that keeps their production lines running — a senior supply chain role at the heart of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take ownership of material delivery performance, making sure production always has what it needs, when it needs it.
• Manage purchase orders from issuance through to delivery — confirming pricing, chasing timelines, and keeping records accurate.
• Stay closely tuned to market conditions and flag supply risks early, working with the strategic sourcing team to adjust plans accordingly.
• Assess supplier production capacity on an ongoing basis and build capacity plans that keep pace with business demand.
• Adjust delivery schedules in response to shifting demand, while actively managing down excess or slow-moving inventory.
