Responsibilities
Evaluate and publish the monthly shipment plan by product (POR – President's Operating Report).
Create and maintain the Master Plan for materials and production capacity to meet customer demand and service level goals (PDSL 95%, RDSL 90%, LT 28 days average, late backlog targets).
Review incoming orders and balance production lines according to the plan.
Work with Sales, Marketing, and Manufacturing to determine forecasts and review plan performance (S&OP).
Review and confirm the Master Plan for S&OP.
Maintain material orders for product families, including engineering changes.
Collaborate with Purchasing on supplier transitions.
Maintain appropriate inventory levels aligned with demand and inventory goals.
Review and manage obsolete and excess inventory.
Determine if lead times need adjustment based on material availability.
Support new product introduction with inventory planning.
