Massage Therapist

Overview

Medcan is recruiting a skilled massage therapist to join our Sports Medicine, Therapy and Rehabilitation team. This Independent Contractor position supports a 2-3 half-day per week schedule during business hours (Monday–Saturday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm). Specific hours and locations are mutually determined with flexibility. Current clinic locations: York Mills (4120 Yonge Street), Markham (600 Cochrane Drive), Toronto (150 York Street).

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical massage therapy services.


• Maintain complete and detailed clinical documentation and records.


• Practice effective and timely inter-professional communication.


• Ensure the highest quality of patient management and care.


• Collaborate with physicians, physiatrists, orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors, chiropodists and other massage therapists.
