Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Lay bricks, blocks, or stones accurately, ensuring alignment and level
- Mix and apply mortar, concrete, or other binding agents
- Cut, shape, and finish materials as needed
- Construct walls, foundations, pavements, or other masonry structures
- Ensure safety standards and wear PPE at all times
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and construction crew
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in masonry preferred
- Atleast 1 year of experience in masonry work
- Ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and in various weather conditions
- Strong understanding of construction methods and safety regulations
- Valid certifications (e.g., TESDA Masonry Certification) – a plus
