This is a confidential search. Our client is a scrappy, growth-focused internet service provider operating across Ontario. They compete in the residential and commercial connectivity space — and they are determined to punch well above their weight.
The company has the right product, competitive pricing, and a motivated sales organization (22 direct reps, 12 third-party, door-to-door channel). What they have not yet cracked is marketing. The current team is capable but rooted in legacy telco thinking — the CEO is candid about that. The $2M marketing budget has not delivered the kind of modern, digitally-driven results the business needs and is capable of achieving.
The CEO has a clear-eyed view of the problem and the conviction to fix it. They are not looking for someone who will run the old school Telco playbook. They are looking for someone who will tear it up.
