Job Scope
Reporting to the Fleet Manager – Vetting, the role is responsible for supporting fleet-wide vetting readiness, marine assurance, and compliance initiatives to ensure vessels operate safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and international maritime requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct onboard internal vetting inspections, assessments, and crew training programmes to ensure vessels are fully prepared for external inspections and audits.
- Identify areas of improvement, review findings, and monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions to enhance vessel performance and compliance.
- Verify that vessel personnel consistently follow established operational procedures, safety routines, and company management systems.
