Overview:
Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for supporting metrics shared with production under a continuous improvement program.
**Responsibilities**:
- Generates and keeps up-to-date IDP's (Process Instructions)
- Support the production team in troubleshooting process problems.
- Generates CR's (Engineering Changes) and CR-Deviation (Temporary Engineering Deviations)
- Generate and maintain up-to-date information in SAP (Routines, Work Centers, Machine and Labor Capacity, etc.)
- Define installed capacity in the production areas.
- Perform cost analysis.
- Prepare work area distribution plans (Lay - Out).
- Analyzes, measures, controls and implements corrective and / or preventive actions.
- Notifies the Maintenance department in case of having tools or fixtures that are required to be added in the preventive maintenance program.
