Job Overview

The Manager, Student Engagement and Leadership leads in the development, execution, assessment, and implementation of new student transitions and engagement strategies for KPU learners.

Working with the Director, Student Success, the Manager is responsible for the strategic planning for efficient and effective operation of the Orientation & Transitions department.

Through campus‑wide collaboration, this position carries out the responsibilities related to the delivery of high‑quality programs, services and events for all KPU students across all campuses.

Education and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in education, business, humanities, social sciences or a related discipline. A master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience managing and leading a team. Experience with labour relations in a unionized environment is an asset.
