Manager, Payroll-Benefits-HRIS (contract)

Location: Montreal, Quebec.

Hypertec is seeking a Manager of Payroll, Benefits and HRIS for a contract of 14 months.

This role will lead and oversee accurate payroll processing across Canada and the U.S., manage benefits programs, and maintain the HRIS platform.

Payroll Management

• Lead and oversee accurate and timely payroll processing across Canada and the U.S., ensuring compliance with jurisdictional laws.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian and U.S. federal, provincial and state regulations, including CRA, RQ, IRS, and other tax authorities.
• Manage year‑end processes, including T4s and RL-1s (Canada), and W‑2s (U.S.).
• Develop and enforce payroll policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
