Manager Operations – Equities, Clearing and Settlements

This role is to manage the settlement of HSBC margins against the Central Counterparty Clearing House (CCP) as part of the DCS Cash Team. The position supports global and regional operations with interaction across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily payments and withdrawals to fulfill HSBC margin requirements to various CCPs.
• Carry out ad‑hoc tasks, analysis and reporting as requested by the business.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across different locations to address operational gaps.
• Represent the team in meetings and discussions with other stakeholders, presenting analyses, business issues and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure accurate processing of vouchers or ledgers to reflect interests, fees or charges associated with margins.
• Initiate process improvements to reduce manual processes within the team.
