Reporting to the Director of the Climate Change Division, the Manager provides leadership and oversight for industrial carbon pricing regulations and climate change mitigation policy. The Manager leads the development and implementation of regulations under the Management of Greenhouse Gas Act; as well as developing economy-wide and regulated facility-level greenhouse gas projections. The Manager integrates climate change considerations into environmental assessment processes and interdepartmental land use planning; and oversees the assessment of best available control technology requirements for greenhouse gas emissions for new industrial facilities.
