To manage end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation, warehouse management, and distribution while maintaining high service levels and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Plan and manage transportation operations to ensure on-time delivery to customers. Monitor vehicle placement, optimize freight costs, and ensure availability of transporters. Minimize detention, demurrage, and turnaround time at plants/warehouses/customers. Coordinate with internal teams (planning, Project management) for seamless dispatch execution. Manage relationships with transporters and logistics partners to ensure service reliability. Track and improve logistics KPIs such as OTIF, freight cost, lead time, and vehicle turnaround. Ensure compliance with safety, statutory and regulatory requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in logistics processes and cost optimization.
