Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust understanding of regulatory requirements, industry and customer trends, and competitive landscape and propose insurance contract changes accordingly for Canada-wide Commercial Automobile Products
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for small business underwriting strategy, rules and coverage wordings-related inquiries
- Drive the design and development of new underwriting rules to achieve business objectives
- Develop provincial regulatory filings where applicable
- Develop an in-depth understanding of small business underwriting strategy and rules and a solid understanding of customer segments, customer needs, competitive landscape and trends in the General Insurance industry to assist in identifying new business opportunities
