Position Summary:
This position is responsible for managing the engineering department and the technical process support of our aluminum die casting end-frames, rotors and shafts, parts for motors assembly operations, working in a lean manufacturing environment.
The manufacturing engineer manager collaborates cross-functionally to maintain and improve our manufacturing/machining processes and manages various projects working directly with site and functional leadership.
This position collaborates with upper management in selecting and prioritizing projects, The engineering manager will coach, mentor, and develop site/functional team members through training, Kaizen events, and continuous improvement activities to effectively utilize performance excellence tools, methodologies, and philosophies to drive performance excellence.
