What You’ll Do

The Manager, Commodity Tax, will be responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day management of indirect tax affairs, managing tax audits, and ensuring proper monthly tax compliance.

• Oversee, review, and assist with the preparation of indirect tax returns and ensure they are filed accurately and on a timely basis.
• Stay current on sales tax changes; analyse the implications of any changes to federal and provincial commodity tax rules, published rulings, interpretations, and court cases, and communicate to the appropriate businesses.
• Manage federal and provincial commodity tax audits including participation to negotiate and settle audit disputes.
• Train, mentor, and develop other team associates to encourage cross training, succession, and compelling career paths.
