Job SummaryThe Central Planning Manager is responsible for a team that orders parts to the delivery phase of the purchasing process for parts supplied by their assigned suppliers for all production facilities.
The Central Planning Manager will be assigned a product group and will be expected to drive planning efficiency improvements, maintain build and ship performance for their segment, and reduce expedites.Responsibilities- Multi‐Site planning and inventory responsibility- Manage OTS Supplier Performance- Manage/work with 3rd party logistics vendors- Analyze shortage database for product level trends, then define cross‐functional teams to address systemic / chronic performance issues- Analyze Inventory for opportunities to improve turns and identify excess at the product group level- Work with Logistics & Purchasing to drive item receipt efficiency without deleveraging logistics costs- Support Logistics Supply Chain Engineering, Engineering, and Purchasing team projects to lev...
