Manager, Cards Credit Strategy and Data Science

What is the opportunity?

The RBC Credit Strategy team is hiring for a Manager, Cards Credit Strategy and Data Science to lead the Cards Account Management team, combining credit strategy development with credit talent‑management responsibilities. You will use advanced analytics to develop credit strategies to grow RBC revenue and manage risk to ultimately optimise portfolio profitability. You will also be accountable for developing an existing talented credit team within the group.

What will you do?

• Use data mining, profitability modelling and business intuition to inform lending decisions for cards credit programmes such as Line Management and Transaction Authorisations.
• Optimise the profitability of RBC’s retail credit card portfolio by analysing, designing and recommending credit strategies.
• Support the implementation and ongoing integrity of credit strategies within appropriate systems (e.g. Pathfinder, TRIAD).
