The Health Information Technician is responsible for managing and organizing health information data, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and security. This role plays a key part in maintaining patient records and supporting compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and maintain patient health information and medical records.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of health records.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA.
  • Participate in audits to verify the integrity of health information.
