Position Summary

Based out of New Glasgow or Halifax, NS, the Manager, Accounting and Financial Reporting is responsible for leading and managing external accounting and reporting functions for Crombie REIT. Additionally, the Manager, Accounting and Financial Reporting is also responsible for providing leadership, coaching and mentorship to the External Reporting Team. Additional duties include:

• Ensures that accounting and reporting standards are maintained at a high standard and respected by all team members. Consistently researches new IFRS accounting standards that impact Crombie’s financial position and financial statements and co‑ordinates policy solutions;
• Conducts and provides ownership on reporting to the specified investment flow‑through (SIFT) model on a quarterly basis.
