Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

Work in conjunction with the Property Management Department, contractors and other staff to ensure buildings, suites and common areas are maintained in a “A” Class condition. Perform regular inspections to identify and report deficiencies such as missing door stops, plumbing leaks, damaged walls, damaged doors, appliance issues, and other maintenance concerns. Assist resident caretakers and onsite staff with tasks including shoveling snow, minor cleaning after trades have conducted work, moving appliances, cleaning out roof drains, and removing and cleaning up graffiti. Conduct painting tasks as outlined by management, including common areas, suite entry doors, door jambs, and exterior areas such as patio decks and siding. Perform minor plumbing, electrical, tile setting, grouting, carpentry and cabinetry repairs, and all finishing work required for maintenance tasks.
