Purpose
The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the maintenance and repair operations of Sysco's facilities, equipment, and grounds, ensuring a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment. This role is responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians, coordinating preventive maintenance programs, managing repairs, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company standards. This position is critical to maintaining the smooth operation of Sysco's distribution network.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all plant and equipment performance – schedules, tracks and completes preventive maintenance as noted in the equipment manufacturer's guidelines, ensures workmanship, and keeps downtimes to a minimum
- Supervise the daily work and safety of associates and third-party contractors engaged in building, grounds, sanitation, refrigeration systems, powered industrial equipment and security
