Key Responsibilities
Health & Safety
- Take all actions necessary for the adequate control and/or elimination of hazards in the workplace including detailed investigations for all safety incidents including near misses.
- Provide support, direction, coaching and training to the teams for all health and safety issues (JSEAs, workplace hazards, OPLs etc)
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory health and safety requirements.
- Facilitate and participate in health and safety training on all new and existing programs as required.
- Assume role of Incident Commander during Emergencies, including ERT responsibilities, completion of sight reporting in Entropy, completion of other required documentation and participation in continued investigative procedures
- Lead and reinforce safe work practices within their team(s) including good Manufacturing Practices and 5S, Process Safety Management System (PSM).
