**Job Summary:**
The BaSE Specialist is a member of the UPS Building and Systems Engineering (BaSE) department. The PE Specialist manages small projects and oversees the work of outside contractors. This position assists BaSE supervisors and managers in managing construction projects of large complexity and risk (i.e., conveyor installations and facility modifications). Projects may involve building construction, package sortation equipment or both. He/She ensures adherence to contract documentation, scheduled timelines, and cost control parameters.
